Hello, I’m Kye.
I enjoy finding magic in the mundane,  fostering curiosity, and seeing beyond what "is" to what "could be".
I am neurodivergent and queer artist and designer based in St.Louis, MO.  Being both autistic and queer are integral parts of my identity that shape how I see the world and guide my creative process. I am a creator at heart, evident from childhood notebooks filled with endless stories, floor plans and character designs. My current portfolio spans fine art, graphic design, interior design, and UI/UX design. Creative problem solving is a way I have centered myself since I was a child. I find focusing on the minute details to be extremely relaxing, and nothing is more fulfilling than creating something that benefits others. My work is invigorated by my passion for accessibility and diverse representation in art, design, and the built environment.
I graduated from Maryville University with a BFA in Interior Design, where the majority of my projects focused on equitable design practices to create immersive and personalized user experiences. My driving force through school was to learn how to design a more inclusive world and go beyond the ADA requirements in place today.
If you were to peek into my apartment at any time, you’d probably find me reading a fantasy book about queer people, making white cheddar mac and cheese (the best kind), crocheting something colorful and chaotic (never really planned out), drawing on my tablet (sometimes planned out), playing with my cat, or watching an animated film (probably Ratatouille).
